We have been busy learning all about matter! To get things rolling, the students have explored what matter really is, and the three different forms of matter that we mainly see in our environment/world. In the pictures below, you will see the kids working in small groups to read information on the three states of matter. Each person read about one state of matter and someone else had to check for understanding about what they heard. So, not only did we learn information for Science, we also practiced our Read-to-Someone skills too!
*Ask your child what Read-to-Someone is, and have them tell you how to check for understanding!*
Working in groups to learn is much more fun!
