Hi Parents,
Our annual field day is approaching. It will take place on June 2! Each child will need to bring a lunch to school that can be thrown away when they are done. Please do not send in items that needs to be returned home. It does make it difficult for the kids to keep track of during our time at the track.
One alternative for bringing your own lunch is getting one from our food service program. Just like our Grand Rapids field trip, the food service department will provide a sack lunch for $2.25. Free and reduced prices will apply. The cost will be taken out of your child’s account so please be sure that money is available. The sack lunch usually consists of a sandwich, fruit, baby carrots, treat and milk (chocolate or white).
If you would like to order one of these sack lunches for your child, a half slip of white paper is coming home in their mail today. Please return it to me before Friday, May 15. I will place the orders that afternoon.
