Field Day is Tuesday

Our annual Field Day is Tuesday, June 4 at the Hudsonville Eagle Stadium next to Baldwin Middle School. There are a few pieces of information to remember for this day. Please review the list below in order to have your child prepared:

1. 4th grade boys wear blue shirts. 4th grade girls wear yellow shirts.

2. Every student must bring a lunch to school this day. The only exception is if your child ordered a sack lunch from food service a week ago from the form that was sent home (It is too late to add any extra sack lunch orders).

3. All students must wear tennis shoes the entire day. Please do not send your child in sandals, crocs, etc…

4. If your child would like to bring a water bottle, please remember it is their responsibility to keep track of it. Teachers will not be available to go looking for a bottle if they are lost. When in doubt, send a bottled water from the store.

Field Day is an awesome event that is fun for all kids. Parents are welcome to attend the festivities, but we ask you come as an encouraging spectator, not a personal coach. The events are meant to be fun, not professionally serious. Please use your best judgement when speaking from the sidelines of an event and from the stadium stands. We also encourage parents to come eat lunch with the kids on the football field. Parent volunteers are needed to eat with  and watch the students, alongside the teachers. With over 800 students in attendance, crowd control is very important. Let me know through email if you would like to volunteer during lunch time! cbowen@hpseagles.net

I’m looking forward to an awesome day!!!
